If you are serious about building your online business with Global NPN, GDI “Global Domains International”, or any other network marketing program then it is important that you start building your own list. Building your own list is one of the most important things that you need to focus on while building your home business no matter what internet network marketing company you are involved with. I am not talking about building the companies list either. Before I go on here let me tell you that there is a ton of useful information in this post so it is a little longer. If you are serious about building your home business though it will be well worth your time to read the whole thing. To build your own list you should focus on directing your traffic to a page that has a capture form on it that is tied to your autoresponder so that you have control of the list. If you focus on directing all of your traffic to a network marketing companies replicated site with your affiliate id then you are essentially building the companies list. When a person opts in from a company page then the network marketing company has complete control of what follow up messages and other offers that person gets in their email inbox. Most network marketing companies replicated pages with a capture form do not build your own personal list that you own and control. You are Building Your Business so doesn’t it just make sense to have as much control of your business as you possibly can. What you need to do is direct traffic to a page that builds your list when someone opts into the capture form for more information and then you can introduce these people to the network marketing company your involved with through your follow up messages. By doing this you are able to build your own list and also build your downline with the network marketing company your involved with. This also allows you to build a personal relationship with your list. Building relationships is really what the network marketing industry is all about. I have met some of my best friends through this industry. If you are not sure how to go about making a page that actually builds your own personal list then you go and find a system created by someone that allows you to build your own list using your autoresponder account. Find a system that can help you build your list, the internet network marketing company your involved with and allows you to tie your personal autoresponder to it. You then focus on getting traffic to your associated systems capture page. A good system should have training to help you get this all set up. I have found My Home Biz Builder to be a great system to use to build my list and my GDI downline along with generate other streams of income by marketing one page. For Global NPN I have found that the Global Elite System works great to build a list and build my Global NPN downline while building other income streams. Both of these systems and the training they provide were designed to help build your business first.
I know the first part of this post was a little long but it was important to make sure that you understand the difference between building your list to grow your downline and building the network marketing companies list. Your chances of building a successful online business are much higher if you build your personal list that you control. Now that you understand which type of website you need to be directing traffic to it is time to talk about how you can use listbuilders or list builders to start building your own personal list. The first thing you need to know about using listbuilders for advertising is that you must join the listbuilder service first. When you join a listbuilder you are agreeing to be added to that list and also agreeing to get emails from all of the other members of that list advertising their affiliate program, network marketing company, or them self. It is for this reason that before you join any listbuilder (also known as safelists) you go and create two brand new gmail email accounts that you will use to join them with. These two new email accounts that you create are going to be accounts that you don’t really care about. By joining listbuilders with these accounts you are going to insure that your primary email account (the one you check daily) does not get bombarded with a bunch of offers from other people. You want your primary email account to only get emails that involve your business, your network marketing company, internet marketing training, and things like that. This is a little secret that many people don’t know or use when they first start their online business. Yes you can log in and check these two email accounts that you join listbuilders and other traffic sources with periodically like I do to get ideas on different ad copy, but don’t read each and every email. Using this technique to join advertising sources with helps you to stay focused on your business and the network marketing company you are building. Staying focused on what you are building is a Key element to your success online. After you have joined a listbuilder or many of them (I recommend joining several) with your new email accounts you have created it is time to advertise your capture page to the other members of the list. You already know from early on in this post that the capture page you should be advertising should be tied to your personal autoresponder account so that you are building your own personal list. With a listbuilder or safelist you already know that you are marketing to people that are interested in internet network marketing so this is targeted advertising for you. If they weren’t interested then chances are they wouldn’t be a member of the list. Your advantage is that 97% of them (based on statistics I have found) are not successful with their home business. One of the reasons for this is they don’t stay focused on what their doing. There is a good chance they didn’t even think about the tip I mentioned earlier about joining a listbuilder with an email account different from their primary. There is also a good chance that they don’t have a good sponsor who is willing to give their downline the secrets they deserve. This is the case for many people trying to make money online and all the offers they get in their primary email distract them quickly from focusing on the network marketing company their currently involved with. This can cause people to become program jumpers “jump from one network marketing opportunity to the next best thing”, I know this feeling because I did just that during my first 2 years of online network marketing. I am telling you all of this to help you shave off a few years of the learning curve to become successful online. If you are wondering what type of email advertisements you should send to members of a listbuilder look for ad copy in the training section of the system you are using or look at other ads you get for ideas. If the system you are using doesn’t provide training and ad copy you can use then take a look at the two systems I mentioned earlier. For your info I have tested many listbuilders and the ones below are the only ones I have personally got results with.
- ViralUrl: This is one that I only recommend if you have some money to invest into advertising. Do the One Time Offer if you can. I get a lot of signups into my network marketing company from this one.
- ViralHosts: Same as above.
- ListJoe: Join this one for free if you have no marketing budget. If you join for free then you will have to log into the email account you join with to click other peoples ads to earn credits. If you have a budget then upgrade to be able to send to more people more often. By upgrading you will have credits to be able to send ads to others without spending time clicking.
- Adchiever: Similar to ListJoe recommendation above. Upgrade if you can.
- State of The Art Mailer: Similar to ListJoe and Adchiever above. Upgrade if you can.
- DownlineBuilderDirect: Similar to ListJoe ect. above. Upgrade if you can.
- TheListAuction: Similar to ListJoe ect. above. Upgrade if you can for more results.
There are other similar websites that you can promote your page at to build you own list. The ones I mention above though are the ones that I get my best results from. I have proven them all to be worth my time and money investment with tracking.
