AdFly or AdF.ly url shortening service is a joke if you are a serious internet marketer looking for a true url shortening service. A good url shortening service comes in handy for internet marketers at times if they are wanting to advertise an affiliate link that is very long or a long domain name. Basically a good url shortening service allows you to advertise a shorter link that directs people to the page that you are really advertising and also tracks the amount of clicks that you get to the shortened link.
The AdFly / AdF.ly url shortening service tracks clicks to your shortened link, but when someone clicks on your shortened link they don’t immediately go to the site that you shortened with AdFly / AdF.ly url shortening service. The only way that people really will end up on the actual site that you want people to go to when they click on your shortened AdFly / AdF.ly url is if they first go to some other random website (people advertising with AdFly or AdF.ly advertising service) and then they must click the Skip Ad! button in the upper right corner to actually see the website that you really want them to see.
Here is an example of exactly what I am talking about. I used the AdFly / AdF.ly url shortening service to shorten this link http://www.makingcash24-7.com/?t=afblog and the service produced this shortened url for me to advertise http://adf.ly/7ksje. If you click the shortened link you are not going to go directly to the website that I had shortened. You first go to some other persons website and you must click skip ad in upper right to go to my website. Now I don’t know about you, but If I advertise some link for people to view my websites then I expect that when they click the link they go directly to the site I want them to and not some other random advertisers site. I will say that their affiliate site does tell the truth though it states “We are a free URL Shortener service with a twist..” and they definitely put a twist on what a serious internet marketer is looking for in a URL shortening service.
Don’t Use AdFly / AdF.ly For URL Shortening. There Are Better Options:
If you are serious about finding a good URL Shortening service for use in your internet network marketing advertising then stay away from using AdFly / AdF.ly url shortening service. Yeah they might pay you fractions of a penny for each click you get to one of their shortened url’s, but if your serious about your marketing efforts you want people to see the actual website your advertising and not someone elses.
Apologize for the ringing phone in middle of video but hey that’s part of life.

The site you purchase advertising for is going to be one of the random sites that people are taken to immediately after clicking a link that was shortened by someone using the AdFly / AdF.ly url shortening service. I have found that the traffic generated through their advertising service is worth the small investment. If you have a good capture page to advertise to generate leads then you might want to consider purchasing an advertising package from AdFly / AdF.ly, but don’t use their url shortening service if you want your site that you shortened to be the first site people see when you advertise the shortened url directly.

Network Marketing! Where Do I Start?
Network Marketing is something that has been around for a long time. In our world today internet network marketing is more common than the old methods of calling people, speaking face to face, or a letter in the mail. Using the internet allows people to use attraction marketing methods which are more effective than chasing after people. Attraction Marketing is a technique that when used properly people join your network marketing business because they want to work with you.
Some people think immediately when they here or see the words network marketing that it is Multi Level Marketing or MLM. This is far from truth as MLM is just a type of network marketing. My guess is though that you are reading this because you are interested in or need help with building some extra or full time income with internet network marketing through a company that pays you multi tier commissions referring others to it and helping those people do the same.
Network Marketing allows people from all walks of life to earn an extra or full time income working from home. The problem is that most people who join a network marketing business get put on a wild goose chase trying to figure out on their own how to build the business. This is even true for most people who get started in internet network marketing. I know this from experience because I was there once.
Many people are told to use old school tactics to build their network marketing business with that leave them behind. Then when they try to contact their sponsor for help they never get a response.

Consistent Action!
Consistent Action should be taken daily when it comes to building a successful home business. Luckily thanks to the internet taking consistent action to build a network marketing business is much easier than the old days of cold calling people and throwing home parties in the hopes of building your network marketing business.
It is important in building a home business that you are using the tools available to you on the internet to help you build it. By using the internet your consistent action will build your network marketing business quicker if you are taking the right consistent action. I recommend using this system to learn the right consistent action to be taking to build a home business with.
Consistent Action That Produces Results:
These are activities that you should be focusing on taking consistent action with. For short, I along with other network marketers call these activities IPA’s (Income Producing Activities).
If you haven’t already then you should make a list of IPA’s that you take consistent action on every day if you are serious about building an income with a home business. The first thing you need to do before making this list is determine exactly how much time you can and will commit to each day for taking consistent action towards building your business. Make sure that this is time that you can set aside strictly for doing IPA’s for building your business. In the early stages of your business you may only be able to set aside 1 hour a day for dedicating towards consistent action for doing IPA’s. The important thing is that you start with a certain amount of time that you commit to each and every day.
Over time as you continue to take consistent action each day on building your business you will find that some of the IPA’s that you are doing each day are producing better results than others. When you find something that is not worth your time to take consistent action with and have found something that produces better results then it makes sense to spend more time on what produces better results. You should also be working on learning new skills to take consistent action with so that your time spent produces better results.
For an internet network marketing business you should focus your consistent action on getting as many visitors to your websites as possible. These websites can include things like your personal blog, lead capture pages, facebook pages and sales pages. The types of websites that you should take consistent action on driving traffic to can depend on your personality and the type of business you do.
Here is a short list of consistent action items that you can do to drive traffic to your websites:
- Advertise to safelists! This is what I spent my time doing in the early stages of my network marketing business because I had No advertising budget and had very little skills.
- Advertise to listbuilders! I still do this. Upgrading in listbuilders to be able to mail more people more often is a way to get more traffic to lead capture pages that takes very little time and has been effective.
- Put new content on your personal blog daily! This does not mean that you necessarily have to publish a new post daily. If you can publish a new post daily during your consistent action time then you will see more traffic to your blog more quickly. But if you only have time to write a little content on a draft each day until it is ready to publish then do it and then publish the content when you have it ready. If you don’t have a personal blog yet then I recommend getting started. Blogging is a great way to get traffic to your websites for free via searches on the search engines. - Pay Per Click Advertising! Yes there is a cost to this, but it can be very effective if done properly. If you have an advertising budget then this may be for you. You should do your own research on this subject.
Consistent Action That Will NOT Produce Results!
When building a home business using the internet there are certain consistent action items that people tend to get caught up doing more often than they should which are not IPA’s. I know this from experience because I used to take to much consistent action doing them and my home business growth suffered or was non existent during this time. Here is a list of items that you should limit the amount of time that you take consistent action doing because they will not produce income and or growth for your business.
- Reading Emails! Now obviously if you are building a business from home with internet network marketing it is important that you read the important emails. I suggest setting up filters on your email account that allow you to only focus on the important emails when your checking your email. I recommend using a gmail email address to do this with. I also recommend setting aside a specific time frame that you use only for checking your email.
- Reading Blog Posts! You can set aside a time designated specifically for reading other peoples blog posts. I do recommend doing this occasionally as long as your reading blogs that pertain to internet network marketing because you can get some really good ideas for building your network marketing business from other blogs, but keep in mind that reading the post is not an IPA consistent action. Getting information and ideas from a blog does not become an IPA until you take consistent action on what you learned from the blog post.
- Watching Television! This one is pretty obvious. If you are serious about building a home business then limit the amount of time you take consistent action watching television. By doing this you will most likely find that you have a lot more time to build your business with.
Building a home business is not for everyone because most people do not commit to taking the required consistent action to build it.

Fishing For Leaders
Fishing is something that I enjoy doing to relax when it comes to catching real fish. You may be wondering what fishing has to do with building a home business. If you are doing internet network marketing then it is important to find leaders to join your team. This is where the fishing comes in. You need to make sure that you are fishing for the leaders in the right lakes, ponds, and oceans on the internet. You also need to make sure that you are using the right kind of bait to lure the leaders in. During your fishing for leaders you are going to also find some people who join your network marketing business who are up and coming leaders. When I find these type of people I get excited also because I know that with a little mentoring and molding I can turn them into network marketing leaders and big business builders.
Where Should You Be Fishing To Find Leaders?
The short and simple answer to this is that you should be fishing in all the waters that have potential leaders (the big fish) in them. To clarify, what I mean is that your ultimate goal should be to have potential traffic coming to your website ( one of the baits) from people who find your bait using the search engines. Yes you will have some people who take the bait who have no intentions of becoming leaders in online business or network marketing. Just like when a person goes fishing for fish, they usually go fishing many times or catch a lot of smaller fish before they catch that Master Angler fish they are after.
If you are new to online business and internet network marketing then you may be wondering how you can get your website in front of more people so that you have a better chance of finding that big leader. There are many ways that you can start fishing for the leaders when you are new to network marketing. Here is a short list of what I like to look at as ponds and lakes to start fishing for leaders when you are new to network marketing.
- Safelists
- Listbuilders
- Ezines (Sending Solo Ads to Ezines)
- TrafficSwarm (This is a traffic exchange that really does produce results if you spend time surfing)
Your ultimate goal though should be to have a website that generates traffic from people searching the search engines. When you have this you really are fishing for leaders in the Ocean of the Internet to build your network marketing business. Do not let the idea of blogging overwhelm you. Just start doing it and writing new content on your blog as often as you can. Over time as you continue to blog you will start getting more and more traffic which gives you better chances of finding the leaders to join you in business. Your blogging content will improve as you learn from your experiences. Doesn’t it just make sense to go fishing in the Ocean for the BIG FISH (Leaders) to build your network marketing business.
Fishing Bait To Use To Find The Leaders:
The best fishing bait you have to offer is YOU when it comes to building an internet network marketing business. With that said, I highly recommend that you continually work on your internet marketing and network marketing skills. If you want leaders to join you in network marketing then it is important that you are a leader yourself. If you are a person who continually strives to better yourself, learn new skills, and learn from mistakes then you have characteristics of a leader.
Other fishing baits that you need to be using to build your network marketing business with are:
- A lead capture page that grabs your prospects (Potential Leaders) contact information. Make sure that you have your own autoresponder tied to this capture page so that you are building your own list. This way you can communicate with them and follow up with them the way you want to. Make sure to offer value to people who join your list even if they never join your network marketing business.
- A page that is good at converting people into signups into your network marketing business. This could be the page that people go to immediately after entering their details into your lead capture page.
- Your own personal blog. This is what I like to look at as your headquarters for online business. Once you have visitors coming to your blog you can then redirect them to other pages of your choice. The great thing is that visitors to your blog get to make the choice on whether or not they are interested in other pages or websites that your blog has links to. The visitor gets to decide if they want to follow or work with you.

Copy And Paste Instructions
Step by step video explains how to copy and paste text. If you are new to using a computer or new to internet marketing it is very important that you know how to copy and paste. If you are not sure how to copy and paste words or characters on a computer then read this whole article and watch the video. When you are done watching the video you will know how to copy text from one location and paste the same text into another location.
Copy And Paste Instructions Written:
If you are going to use a mouse to perform the copy and paste function it is as simple as knowing how to click the left button on your mouse and knowing how to click the right button on the mouse.
- First locate the text or characters that you want to copy and paste.
- Place your cursor just to the right of the last character that you want to copy or just to the left of the first character you want to copy.
- Click the left mouse button and hold it down. While holding it down move your mouse to the left if you placed the cursor just to the right of the last character you wanted to copy. You will notice that it is highlighting what you are going to copy. Once everything is highlighted that you want to copy let up on the left mouse button. If you placed the cursor just to the left of the first character you want to copy then you do the same thing but move your mouse to the right while holding down the left button to highlight what you want to copy. NOTE: See Copy And Paste Video above.
- While mouse/cursor is still over the highlighted text click the right mouse button. You will notice a drop down menu appear. On the drop down menu Click on Copy with the Left mouse button. Your highlighted text is now saved in memory.
- Go to the document, page, or website area that you want to paste what you have copied. Make sure that your cursor is placed exactly where you want to paste the copied text. You can do this by clicking the exact spot with your left mouse button or using your keyboard.
- Click the right mouse button and you will notice a drop down menu. On that menu Click the left mouse button. You should now have the text that you copied pasted where you intended.

If you like to use the keyboard more than the mouse or just interested in another method to copy and paste. You can use the mouse to highlight what you want to copy. Once its highlighted you can hold down the control key on keyboard while pushing the letter c. This copies the highlighted text. Then after you have your cursor where you want to paste the text hold down the control key while pushing the letter v. There are instructions on this in the above video also.
Knowing How To Copy And Paste Saves Time:
It is amazing how much time a person can save using the skill of knowing how to copy and paste. Yes knowing how to copy and paste using a computer really is a skill and a very important one if you do a lot of work on a computer.
Here is a list of some of the ways knowing how to copy and paste save me time and can save you time.
- I have several different advertisement copies saved on notepad files that I use for my online business advertising. Because I know how to copy and paste I don’t have to type out the ad each time I use a new advertising source. I just go open the notepad file with the ad. I then select the whole ad (using technique explained above highlighting it and copying it) and paste it into the advertising source I am using.
- A set of instructions has asked you to place a set of characters or code into a certain location. Rather than try to type out the characters or code it is much easier and saves time to just highlight it and copy and paste it where your supposed to put it.
- You have written some notes or a bunch of text into a notepad file and saved it. You now want to put it into a word file. To save time rather than retype it all you can copy and paste it from the notepad file to the word file.
This is a very short list of how using the copy and paste function can save you time.

What exactly does it mean to invest in yourself? I truly believe that you invest in yourself any time that you read a book on a subject of interest, learn a new skill, practice a skill to get better at it, listen to a speaker who teaches you something, and anything that you do that results in you having more knowledge in a positive subject matter. If you are working online or offline to build a successful home business then it is very important that you invest in yourself daily.
Ways To Invest In Yourself For Online Business:
Some of the things to spend time on to invest in yourself for successful online business might be:
- Learn about attraction marketing. Attraction marketing has been a key part of my successful online business. Here are some key places to invest in yourself on the subject of attraction marketing for your online business success.
- Magnetic Sponsoring (Even if you don’t buy the book you can get 7 free video tutorials just by entering your name and email that are extremely valuable. I highly recommend this book.)
- Attraction Marketer’s Manifesto (A free report on attraction marketing. This is a must read if you are doing business online.)
- Renegade University (Another free membership site that teaches about attraction marketing.)
- NPN Free Report (This is an excellent free report on attraction marketing even if you don’t join NPN. There is a lot of respectful information in this report.)
- Learn how to drive traffic to your website. Some of the ways to invest in yourself on this skill are:
- Learn about blogging and how it can bring free website traffic to your website. Empower Network is a great place to start blogging.
- Learn about different avenues that can be used to drive traffic to your website. I have learned a good portion of the traffic generation techniques that I use from the training that I get from the MyHomeBizBuilder system. This system provides excellent easy to understand internet marketing training and is designed to help you build any business of your choice. It also supports the invest in yourself concept.
- Become a member of Renegade Professional. I have yet to see one site online to date that offers more training on internet marketing and traffic generation than this does.
- Practice skills that you have learned and become better at them. The more you practice a skill the more you will learn about it. If you continue to practice it you eventually master the skill.
- Read self improvement books also known as personal development books. Some of the books that I recommend are:
- “The Bible” to grow your self spiritually. There is a ton of knowledge in Gods Word.
- “Think & Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill.
- “Retire Young Retire Rich”, “Guide To Becoming Rich”, “Rich Dad Poor Dad” all by Robert T. Kiyosaki.
- “How To Win Friends & Influence People” by Dale Carnegie.
- “The 7 Habits Of Highly Effective People” by Stephen R. Covey.
- Reading articles or blog posts on a subject of interest is another way to invest in yourself.
- Listen to self improvement audio on subjects of interest.
- Attend live events on subjects of interest.
I know that this list is long and I could easily make it longer. There are many more ways that you can invest in yourself for business reasons. The invest in yourself subject also goes way beyond business though. It is also important in family life and relationships.

Network Marketing Strategies have been used in peoples lives for thousands of years. In the past one of the biggest network marketing strategies used and known by man kind was word of mouth. The biggest example that comes to mind of using the word of mouth network marketing strategies is when Jesus Christ spread the Word Of God to individuals. Then these individuals went on to spread the Word Of God to other individuals by word of mouth and so on. Today this network of people spreading the Word Of God continues to grow. However there are many different network marketing strategies being used today than just word of mouth. Many people like myself use the network marketing strategies of our current time to build our home business or tell people about something. The network marketing strategies available to us today allow us to get our message out to thousands of people in a very short time. Don’t get me wrong, word of mouth networking definitely still plays a big part in our world today and always will. For building an online business though there are more efficient and effective network marketing strategies to use than just relying on word of mouth. I also like to use the network marketing strategies of our time to spread the Word Of God.
Which Network Marketing Strategies Should You Use?
I have to be honest with you here that I can’t specifically say which network marketing strategies are the best ones for you. The network marketing strategies that are best for you are going to depend on who you are as a person and what you are marketing. There are however two network marketing strategies of our time that I truly believe are highly beneficial for whatever it is you are network marketing in. Those two network marketing strategies are Blogging and using Facebook. I personally feel that anyone who is serious about building a business or getting their knowledge to other people should be blogging. If you would like to start blogging with the potential to earn an income then I recommend you click Empower Network. Here is a small list of just some of the other network marketing strategies available in our world today.
- Network Marketing using email: (Do NOT Spam: Use safelists, listbuilders, build your own mailing list, ect..)
- Network Marketing using Twitter: This can be very effective if mastered.

- Network Marketing using video like youtube: Very effective if done properly. I personally do some of this myself.
I personally recommend picking 1 or 2 network marketing strategies that fit who you are as an individual and then go out and master that strategy. Do not try to master more than a couple network marketing strategies at once, doing this will cause serious overwhelm. After you have mastered 1 or 2 network marketing strategies then you can decide to learn new strategies.
Avoid Excessive Overwhelm By Network Marketing Strategies:
You have seen that just in this post alone I have mentioned several different network marketing strategies that people use today. What ever your reason is for being interested or involved with network marketing it is important that you don’t get to overwhelmed by all of the different strategies available.
While it is natural to experience some overwhelm when learning new things because that is part of growing as a person, if you put your self in situations of extreme overwhelm you become less productive. Each person handles overwhelm differently.
If you take on trying to learn to many different network marketing strategies at once it will surely take a lot longer to master one of them. Like I mentioned in previous section I recommend only learning 1 or 2 network marketing strategies at a time and continue with them until you master them before trying to learn another strategie. Once you have mastered something it will take very little of your physical energy and brain power to implement that network marketing strategy. You will know when you have mastered any of the network marketing strategies if it comes natural to use it subconsciously. When this level is reached then you may choose to go learn a new one.

In order to build a successful online business it is important that you use the proper internet marketing tools to build it with. I am sure that you have heard the saying before “in order to get the job done right, you need the right tools for the job”. It should come as no surprise that if your going to build a successful business using the internet that you will need the right internet marketing tools to build it with. Many people try to build an internet network marketing business with out ever getting the proper internet marketing tools to build it with. Then they wonder why they never build the successful online business they desire. If you are serious about building a successful online business then make sure that you use the right internet marketing tools. This post will help you know which internet marketing tools to use.
Essential Internet Marketing Tools To Get Early:
In the early years of my quest to build a successful online business I believed that the network marketing or mlm company that I was trying to build using the internet provided me with all the internet marketing tools I would need to be successful. I did not have any success online during the time that I thought this was true. I did not have success until I learned there are certain essential internet marketing tools needed to build any business successfully online and most network marketing companies don’t provide these tools.
Some network marketing companies do provide what I call “Generic” brands of some of these internet marketing tools.
The essential internet marketing tools you need to build a successful online business are:
- Autoresponder: There are many reasons why an autoresponder is one of the essential internet marketing tools you need. Below is a list of some of the key reasons. The autoresponder service that I recommend is Aweber.
- Allows you to follow up with leads automatically.
- Used to build a list of people interested in what you do.
- You own your own list of prospects and not someone else.
- Allows you to communicate with your list easily.
- You can monetize your list to generate income for you even if members of the list never join you in business.
- Personal Domain Names: I highly recommend having a minimum of two domain names that you own. You need to have at a minimum 1 personal domain name that you use for your personal website. If you don’t have a personal website that you put your own content on people will not be able to get to know who you are. Getting people to know, like, and trust you is a key element of building a successful online business. I also recommend having a domain name that you advertise. It looks way more professional to advertise a domain name that you own than to advertise some long domain name that a company owns. Plus if you advertise all over the internet with a company domain name and the company changes their domain name it will take you a long time to go change all your advertising to the new domain name. If you own the domain name you advertise you can just change where the domain points to if the company changes its domain or you want to promote something different. The most common place to get domain names is GoDaddy.
- Personal Website: This is possibly the most important of the essential internet marketing tools. I already mentioned that this is where people get to know you. Your personal website is where you put your own unique content. You may choose over time to have more than one personal website. I recommend using a wordpress blog for your own personal website. - Hosting For Your Website: You will need a hosting service to store your personal website content at. I recommend Host Then Profit for a hosting service. They offer a low cost hosting plan that makes it easy to get a wordpress blog up and going at your domain. This hosting service is used by some of the top internet marketers and also allows you to be paid for referring others to it. Internet Marketing Tools To Get Traffic To Your Websites:
There are hundreds of different internet marketing tools available online that will help you to generate traffic to your websites. Two of these internet marketing tools are mentioned in the section above which are Aweber and wordpress blogging.
One of the reasons I recommend having a wordpress blog as a personal website is because if you continually ad new content to your blog it will generate you free website traffic from the search engines.
Below is a short list of other internet marketing tools that can be used to get traffic to your websites. Important NOTE: I do NOT recommend advertising your blog domain name on these advertising internet marketing tools. The internet marketing tools below should be used to advertise a lead capture page or something similar. For example: I have advertised www.hwy2success.ws at these places.
- Traffic Exchanges: Free and easy to use. In my opinion the best traffic exchange is trafficswarm.
- Safelists: Free and easy to use.
- Listbuilders: Very similar to safelists. Many of the listbuilders have a one time offer that allow you to email more people your offer more often.
- SoloAds: A true soload will have a cost to email your offer to a list of people.
I also recommend learning how to use Facebook to help you build your online business. This could be one of the best internet marketing tools that you use to build your business if you learn how to use it correctly to do s0.

Childhood Memories Brought Back By My Kids!
I have had a lot of my childhood memories come into my mind lately because of things that my kids have done. It has been almost like reliving my childhood memories watching them. It also has brought back the childhood memories of me not being afraid of failing when I set my mind to do something. It is amazing what my kids will try to do and not be afraid of failing at it. I pray that they will never lose this mindset of having no fear of failure in many ways. I am grateful that I still have the no fear mindset that I had when I made my childhood memories. It is important in building a successful online business to not have a fear of failure but to look at individual failures as a growing opportunity that gets you that much closer to your ultimate goal. Unfortunately many people as they get older become afraid of failing so they don’t try new things. I personally have used some of my childhood memories to motivate me to do things as an adult. There are certain childhood memories that I have that I don’t want my kids to relive so I take action daily on my business to insure my kids won’t have some of the same childhood memories I have that were unpleasant.
A Movie And My Daughter Brings Childhood Memories:
Some of my childhood memories you may totally relate to personally. When I was a kid there were two movies that I loved watching and they were “The Karate Kid” and “Rad”. In short one is about a kid who gets into Karate and wins a big tournament and the other is about a kid who wins a BMX competition. Me and the kids recently watched “The Karate Kid” of new with Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan in it. The movie itself definitely brought back childhood memories of watching the movie when I was a kid, but the big childhood memories were brought back by my daughter right after the movie was over. My daughter yelled “Dad Watch This!”. I looked over and she was standing on the back of the couch looking like she was going to do the “Crane Technique” kick that was in “The Karate Kid” movie I watched when I was little. I said “Jaecee your going to get hurt” then there she went jumping off the couch kicking and landing on her butt. She looked at me and said “That hurt Dad” and came to me to get a hug. Guess What? You got it, she was determined to land that kick off the couch so yep she went and tried again. She did not give up until she accomplished what she had set out to do even though it hurt a couple of times before she landed it. I totally just watched my childhood memories relived through my daughter because I did something very similar after I watched “The Karate Kid” when I was around her age.
My kids James and Jaecee have not seen the movie “Rad” yet, but I am planning on watching it with them soon.:) Some of the things that they do on their bikes already bring back childhood memories of things I did after watching this movie as a kid. I have childhood memories of trying to jump over a car on my BMX bike with a little dirt hill as a ramp right after watching this movie. I tried several times to get over the car and got hurt pretty bad in doing so. My Mom was watching and telling me to stop doing it before I break a bone. On like the fifth attempt I went all out and got my bike going as fast as I could. I hit the ramp and next thing I know I had cleared the car and was lying in extreme physical pain on the ground. My bike had literally split in half when I landed and cut me up. My Mom was laughing as she asked “Are you OK?”. I remember replying that It hurt really bad, but at least I jumped over the car like I wanted to. I already know that my kids will have some similar childhood memories.
Revisit Your Childhood Memories And Implement The Determination Of A Child:
I am sure that you too have some childhood memories that you can look back on and remember how much determination you had to do something. Look at some childhood memories that you have where you set out to do something no matter how much it hurt or how many times you had slight failures before you accomplished your goal. If you are not already doing so then I highly recommend that you approach anything that you want to do in life with this level of Determination.

Online Trash! Get Rid Of It!
Are you letting the Online Trash on the internet today have a negative affect on your life? If you are going to build a successful home business online then you have to learn to get rid of the online trash. Honestly I suggest getting rid of the online trash even if your not building an online business. By online trash I mean things on the internet that distract you from what your goals are in life. Something that seems like online trash to you personally may not really be online trash to someone else. Each person on the internet will have different forms of online trash depending on who they are and what type of person they are. If you are using the internet to build a successful online business like I am or maybe your ready to start a home business online then your forms of online trash should be similar to mine. Some of this online trash can even be on the television you watch. I personally watch very little television because most of it is negative and it takes a positive attitude to build a successful online business.
Different Forms Of Online Trash:
Some forms of online trash are based on opinion and your personality. I am going to assume that if your still reading this post that you have interest in building a successful online business or bettering your home life in some way. If this is the case then there is a good chance that you will relate to some of the forms or all of the forms of online trash in this list. I could make this list very long, however I am only going to list some key forms of online trash that I get rid of to help me stay focused on building a successful online business and to live a better home life.
- Emails from people that you have not given permission to email you also known as SPAM.
- Emails from people who have permission to email you, but your not interested in the types of email they send you.
- Emails from people who have permission and you like what they send, but at times it is distracting to your business or your home life. (These are the emails that I archive to look at during a different time, by archiving them automatically it makes it not show in my primary email as something I see right away and I have to go choose to see it when I am ready. By doing this it does not distract me during a time when I don’t want to be distracted.)
- News from the media. I purposely avoid getting distracted by news all over the internet because I know that there is most likely someone I know that has heard the news and I will hear it from them. It also takes valuable time from my life that I could be using to help someone or invest in myself.
- The advertising that you see online that you are totally not interested in. Not all forms of advertising are online trash, however things like gambling advertisements, pornography ads, or things that you don’t agree with are.
- Spending hours upon hours a day posting on social media sites or chatting online with no intention of serving others or benefiting from it is online trash in my opinion. Why waste time telling 100′s of people you just brushed your teath . Yes I do post on social media sites periodically, but I spend very little time on them and try to at least provide value to someone in my posts.
- Playing games online for hours a day. How do you expect to build a successful online business or benefit from this?
This is just a short list of online trash that I got rid of to stay focused on building my successful online business. I understand that you might not agree with everything on this list. You need to decide what your list of online trash is and then Get Rid Of It if your goal is to build a successful home business online.
Throw Away The Online Trash:
Here is how I through away the online trash. You can use what I did as a reference and guide on how to throw away your online trash. The first thing that I did was I decided to use gmail as the only e-mail service that I use. Here is a list of good reasons why I use gmail for my email service to help me manage online trash related to email.
- It is very good at putting real spam into the spam folder which is online trash.
- It is also easy to set it up so that when you receive emails in your inbox that you don’t want to read or receive from people to have them deleted automatically. If you don’t want to read it then its definitely online trash.
- It is easy to setup emails from people that you want to keep and read later to be archived into a folder to look at later. This is good for emails that aren’t important for your business. You use this feature to not have to worry about seeing them when you first log into your email. This is good for managing the time that you have set aside for business. It helps you to avoid distractions during business time. These emails may not really be online trash, but they can wait for later when its not disturbing you from your work time.
I purposely ignore going to the websites online that are news related. I also have trained my mind to have tunnel vision when I am working my successful online business and ignore any ads that I see that are news related. Doing this gets rid of the potential of the news being online trash. I also trained myself to ignore the ads online that are distracting and of no interest to me. I figure that if I am researching or reading about a particular product or service and something completely different has an ad on the screen, then the ads that don’t match what I am researching are definitely online trash.
When it comes to social media I have made a commitment to only post things that have the potential to benefit someone. Yes I may put some videos or pictures of my family on there, but in reality they benefit my family and friends that haven’t seen me or my kids for a long time. Most of what I put on things like facebook are posts to things like this post and its all set up to be done automatically. I don’t let social media become online trash by playing games on the sites or just posting random things like “I just got home”. When it comes to online games, they are all online trash when it comes to building a successful home business. I know from experience that they totally won’t make your life any better or help with building a business so I through them out of my business time.
